Our Recruitment Process
What you can expect from us
Transparency is important to us, so we aim to keep all of our candidates informed of their progress throughout the application and interview process. After you submit an application, you'll receive an email acknowledgement, and we will then review your application as soon as possible. The time the recruitment process takes can vary from one position to the next depending on a number of different considerations.
If you've submitted an application through an agency, we'll respond to the agency directly.
Snack Brands does not accept resumes or applications from agencies unless they have been engaged for a specific vacancy and have a signed agreement with us.
The recruitment process
After we receive your application and assess your suitability for a role, you may be invited to attend a formal interview.
The type of interview you attend may vary in different parts of Snack Brands Australia, and you may meet with a representative from the human resources team, the business, or both. You may also be asked to attend a number of interviews.
During an interview, we will use both competency-based and technical questions to determine how you have demonstrated competencies in your previous roles that related to the advertised role. This also helps us assess your competencies against the Snack Brands Australia leadership framework. The competencies within the Snack Brands leadership framework apply to all of our roles, not just our leadership roles.
After an interview, you may also be asked to complete a psychometric assessment. Snack Brands uses ability assessments including verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning, and personality profiling to understand your work preferences. We conduct these assessments through our preferred supplier.
If you successfully complete all of these stages, Snack Brands will ask for two references who can be contacted by phone. It is preferable that these referees are or have been your direct manager. Snack Brands also conduct pre-employment medical assessments.
The information you provide through your interview/s, psychometric assessment, references and medical screening will be used to evaluate how well you match the advertised role.
